| Career Discovery Day | | | | December 19, 2014 | | | POW I-80 and Elevate Iowa are hosting this year's "Career Discovery Days", a highly interactive career fair directed towards local high school juniors and seniors in order to expose them to employment opportunities in the Grinnell area. The event is free, and will be hosted at the Spaulding Center for Transportation on Thursday, January 22nd, from 10:00am-2:00pm.
This event is an excellent opportunity to create connections with the next generation of manufacturers and industrial entrepreneurs, while simultaneously recruiting from our local Poweshiek County labor market. The Iowa Transportation Museum will provide lunch for the event, and is collaborating with Drake Community Library to develop an exhibit which will complement the major themes.
